Hotel & Area Recommendation in Paris, France
The city of Paris is made up of 20 arrondissements, or districts, which divide the city into different neighborhoods. We found a hotel tucked down a beautiful quiet cobblestone street in the 2nd district.
I loved this area for a first visit in Paris, we were in walking distance to The Louvre, underground train, and more.

Hôtel Bachaumont
This hotel is next to Rue Montorgueil, one of the most beautiful streets to walk in Paris lined with restaurants, brasseries, bakeries, cheese/wine, and produce shops.
The night we arrived, we had a lovely dinner on the patio and ended the night with a walk in the rain.
We were within walking distance of the Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and public transit.
Our hotel room was accommodated with bathrobes, slippers, Nespresso, and local teas. There was a large full window door that we opened to hear the rain at night during our stay. Overall, Hôtel Bachaumont was inspiring, stylish, quiet, chic, and comfortable. I would stay here again because of the hotel’s personal touches, location, and accessibility to get around the city.
Dorothée Meilichzon is the interior designer of this hotel. Her design style is very classy yet modern, with thoughtful details.
Our room had air conditioning, which was nice since not all the hotels around Paris do.
